Robert Drew Schick, D.D.S.
Dr. Schick is a 1998 graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry who came home to Duncan to continue his father's dental practice.
Robert Drew Schick, D.D.S. worked ten years in advertising after completing his Bachelor's in Business Administration at the University of Oklahoma in 1982. In his early thirties, with the support of his wife Margaret, Dr. Schick decided to follow his original dream: he went back to college to complete his science prerequisites and was accepted into dental school, graduating from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 1998.
Dr. Schick's family has resided in Duncan since 1895. His father, Robert Dee Schick, practiced dentistry in Duncan for forty years, and the perfect opportunity for Dr. Schick to continue the family tradition in private practice came when his father retired in 1999.
In the years since, Dr. Schick has worked to update and modernize the office with state-of-the-art technology, allowing the practice to provide treatment in the most comfortable environment possible while he and his staff maintain those standards through ongoing continuing education. His primary focuses are periodontal health and restorative work that achieves and maintains optimal dental health, with cosmetic results as the finishing touch.
Dr. Schick and his wife, Margaret, have been married for more than 40 years. Both graduated from Duncan High School and the University of Oklahoma, and they have two children: Jonathan, who lives in Dallas, and Mackenzie, who is pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education. Dr. Schick is an Eagle Scout and remains active with Duncan's Boy Scout Troop 4434, along with district-level Scouting involvement. Outside the office, he enjoys traveling, hiking, freshwater aquariums, and his newest project — an outdoor koi pond.
